Went on a walk today during my lunch break and enjoyed the view. Such a nice break from the rain.

25/365/2017 - Temptations

Our church does an annual 21 day fast. This year I chose dessert foods as they are a vice for me sometimes. Wouldn't you know it that just a few days in I received these candies from people. I've had them stashed in my desk drawer at work and had to look at them every day. Only a few more days to go, and believe it or not, I'm not even been bothered by their presence anymore.

24/365/2017 - Clean Up Day

We had a clean up day before the launch of our new auditorium at our church. Both my kids volunteered to help and were mopping the floor.

We drive by this sign every morning on the way to take my son to school. Today this was my daughter's comment, "Non-toxic process says the crying smiley face."

It cracked us up so we took a picture to remember.

Went to see The Resurrection of Gavin Stone today as a family. Funny movie, we enjoyed it a lot.

Admission: this is a photo I took of B and Star for use on another day and then took a better photo later. Since I apparently missed this day, I think I'll just post it here anyway.

The picture itself is really not much. B has a funny look on her face but the moment is still there. Her laying on the ground and him just snuggling and loving her attention.

If you are going to incur extra charges from having a movie past the day/time it's due it should be a good one you're watching over and over again, right? 

Yeah, well, apparently we just like to waste our money, because we didn't care for this movie and didn't watch it over again, but kept it because, well, like I said, we like to waste money.

We had a weekend conference at our church. I was trying to get the words to the song in this dark, grainy cell phone photo, but it ended up being the only picture taken.

Ah well, it's a perfect reflection of the night, as well as a good reminder of how we had church services in our gym while the church itself was being remolded.

He asked me to hand him a shirt and I passed him this one. I didn't expect him to put it on. I guess the joke was on me this time, ha!

So tired of using this every day. Rainy weather = more asthma flares ups for me.

Today's (ill-focused) pic is a representative of my girl's heart. She wanted to give the remaining balance of our Starbucks card to the police officers she saw in there buying coffee. 

Note: This is an old card I pulled out of the drawer for the picture and now I'm hoping there's still a balance left on it. Ha!

A second cat it now sick, so here we go again with with the medicine.

Thankfully, his illness is more of a cold and with the meds he should rebound fairly quickly.

We thought she could use a little "pick me up" so we gave her the R2D2 Bop It I got at an after Christmas sale and had stashed away as a present for a later date.

Sadly, my girly's kitty that she's had since she was three passed away today. He's been pretty sick but we were hoping he'd still pull through. 

You'll be missed Sky-Guy.
