I know it appears like she might be picking on him, but in reality she loves him tons and they are enjoying each other's company.

8/365/2017 - Here We Go Again

A second cat it now sick, so here we go again with with the medicine.

Thankfully, his illness is more of a cold and with the meds he should rebound fairly quickly.

She certainly loves him, but I not completely convinced the feeling is mutual.

Tabby Cat ~ 37/365

Lynx is by far the brattiest cat I have ever owned. Before owning Lynx I really didn't fully understand those jokes about cats always doing things "their way" or "you don't own a cat a cat owns you". Lynx definitely wants things his way all. the. time. 

Walking towards the kitchen at the same time as Lynx and you just so happen to follow him? He'll let you know he doesn't like it.

Decide you'd like to stroke his soft fur when he's not interested in being petted? He'll let you know that's not his idea of fun.

Don't let him inside when he wants in (or out for that matter)? You'll get to listen as he jiggles the handle and stares in the window meowing that pitiful moan.

I could go on and on but you get the point. Interestingly enough, he protests every night when our daughter carts him off to bed, yet then he snuggles right in with her and stays there all night long. Lynx has been fun to own but a complete puzzle to figure out.

Frienemies ~ 21/365

These are our three cats ~ from the left: Star, Lynx, & Sky. 

Star and Sky are brothers who are now seven years old. Lynx was found out by our church office as a baby 2 1/2 half years ago. Star and Lynx do not like each other, never have. But tonight he hopped up on the couch in between Star and Sky, and started licking Star's face. Star, with his eyes closed, enjoyed it until he opened his eyes and saw Lynx there. Surprisingly he didn't growl or jump down, he just sat there instead with his ears pinned back the entire time!

I Want In! ~ 11/365

I was originally going to title this "Please... let me in" but this is Lynx in the photo and I highly doubt he'd use his manners. If he could indeed speak I believe he'd be saying something more along the lines of, "Hey Dummy! It's cold out here. Let me in!" 

Yep, he's that bratty.
