162/365 ~ Last Day of School

Last day of school of the 2013 - 2014 school year. Both kids performed in the band playing "Pomp & Circumstance" for the kindergarten graduation. Awards later in the day revealed that she pulled in a nice Math & Bible medal as well as a Honor Roll certificate.

160/365 ~ Her Saturn Poster

It's odd because, when her brother was in the fifth grade he had to do a few posters to present to the class, but now that she's about to finish the fifth grade, it wasn't required of them. Still a few of the kids decided that they wanted the experience. Guess who was one of those few?

Normally with the posters we go all out. Stencils, scrapbooking paper, markers, etc. but because this one is last minute, as in almost last day of school last minute, she just winged it. BUT she had fun!

159/365 ~ Performing on a Sunday

The kids' school band performed on a Sunday morning at church! This is a privilege that they work hard for each year. He is on the top row, right side, playing the trumpet. She is on the front row in the middle playing the clarinet.

154/365 ~ Chubby Bunny

There's this end of the school year tradition that Yohn has with his Jr. High chapel. It's called Chubby Bunny. The kids have to stick large marshmallows in their mouths and say "chubby bunny" after each one they put in. If they can be understood, they go on to the next round.

Some of the kids enjoy it and some, well... some just think it's gross!
